When a good friend of ours, Damien called us up and said he wanted to sell his car, we couldn’t resist but to shoot it one last time!
This 1980 Ford Escort RS2000 has been restored. Damien has owned the car for 1 year and undergone a major transformation.
All the previous rust in the vehicle has been professionally cut and welded. The car was then resprayed in the original Ford red.
All four tyres have been replaced and have plenty of tread on them.
To give this escort the street credibility it deserved, Damien replaced the old torn carpet and seats with new black carpet and Bride replica seats. The steering wheel was also swapped for a suede deep dish wheel.
Dynamat was layed throughout the whole car to reduce noise.
The motor has been fully chromed and has been serviced 1000km ago. The escort pushes its 2L motor through a 4 speed gearbox and brand new LSD. The odometer currently sits at 43xxxkm.
